Layers pellets look like cat litter, chick crumb looks like...well crumbs, dunno if they are the same though, but my snails will hoover up layers pellets but they won't touch chick crumb!

Chick crumbs and layers pellets are different. Not complete certain exactly how but they are nutrionally different to provide for the birds different needs. I could find out if anyones interesed as I have both in the cupboard (I have chickens) I didn't know I could feel snails things like that. my rats and chickens love porrige so can I include the snails in my porrige rounds? lol or is it more of a treat? and should it be made with milk or water?
