brought a pack of sliced frozen peppers today for snails and it has trace of salt in is it safe to feed or not?

Trace amount means its too small an amount to be measured. Like with trace amounts of peanut they have to state any content. Theres probably less salt in them than there is in the soil. If youre worried just swill it under the tap.
Try a little bit first. But if it were me it wouldnt be a concern.

i don't think the snails would eat it if it had too much salt in, they absorb through their skin too so unpon touching the pepper if they could taste the salt they would not eat it, i don't think...
