If it's been done before I apologise but I'm curious . In my case I fell for KathyM's Sherman on another forum and thought it'd be nice to have a couple in a spare fish tank in my fish room. Then I discovered this site and it's been downhill all the way ;D Two months later most of my tanks are housing snails and I'm spending hours reading about them and observing them and I'm finding them fascinating. My fish breeding projects are now snail breeding projects and I think it's safe to say I've been well and truly bitten by the bug So,how was it for you?

How long ago was that Eric?
I can't imagine seeing tigers/margies in a reptile shop, everyone round here only seems to sell fulica.

I went to collect some phasmids from a guy who had loads of tiny, tiny baby GALS in a tank and he gave me 4 for free. I'd never really looked at them before but after sitting and watching my new pets, especially the way they emerge from their shells and 'look around', i completely fell in love with them. When reading about them I came across Annettes site, then cybersnail and by the time i found this site there was no tuning back.

After owning a multitude of other crawlies, millipedes, scorpions and lizards/snakes etc, we finally discovered the humble snail which turned into humble snails and so on, best pets weve ever had, Ade
