After a couple of worrying weeks with my two new adult tigers I think I've finally cracked it. When I got them they refused most of the food I offered them, especailly the smaller snail Shiro. Rurik, the larger one would eat a few bits of tomatoe but that's about it. The good news is I've finally got both eating more than tomato . Thanks to the advice from this site they're both putting on a bit of weight now. Still a bit worried about them but I'm happier than I was. I tried out a recipe tonight that I thought they might like and they've both got stuck into it and they're loving it. I was hoping people could give their opions on whether this mix is ok for them to keep eating. My mix: Chicken Mash Bug grub (what I give my mealworms for my lizard) Baby oaty porriege Calcium powder (they still won't touch cuttle fish) Baby food (pork, vegtable hotpot) All mixed with a bit of water to create a paste. I'm going to try adding some sunflower seeds and hemp when I get a grinder for it. So is this mix ok to keep feeding them as they love it? They are eating small pieces of various fresh fruit and veg as well but I've never seen them get stuck into it the way they do with this mix ;D

Seems fine to me, just be careful that the foods don't contain too much additional salt. The more organic the better.
Glad to hear they are eating better.

If they love it and are eating it then keep on feeding it, it looks a great mix to me well done!! I am going to try it on my tigers who don't eat much either, thanks very much for the recipe. Val
