Iv noticed that since iv started putting these in the tanks aswell as Cuttle that the snails seem to prefer the shell. Has anyone else tried these?
Mine are collected from the beach and thorough rinsed - Shame they done like the beach combed cuttle fish.

I've tried this, most of my snails prefer the oyster shell too but they still eat a large amount of cuttle bone.

How long did you soak the shells for?

Thank goodness! They are the first free things that the snails seem to like! ;D I put them in a bowl in the bath and left the tap running for an hour - Im not on a meter. Next time i will try boiling water though * Tread is locked, because there's too many same named treads around here about calsium. Let's write here next time we have some question or something else to say.. -> petsnails.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=feeding&action=display&thread=8421 - CroSSLeSS *
