The pink could just be the early whorls and you have passed the pink point, if you see what I mean. What type of margie is it? If it is one that has a pink or red spire that could be it. Suturalis babies can be very red when born, then the shell growth stops being red as it grows past that point, and in time the red tends to fade. But marginata can also have a pink spire.

You'd have to ask Arno lol. I have no idea what she is. It would be nice if she's different to Freddie though. Arrrrrrnnoooooooooooo lol you're needed. I still reckon Arno was feeding her pink food colouring though Rofl I'll post some pics of the Smithii on here later, they're growing like mad too And I just noticed how stripeless the new shell on the Panthera is too Lol. Trust me to notice things really late!! I think he has some on it now lol. Will get piccies of him too anyway.

No foodcolouring just natural growth, hehe, the Margie is a crossbreed between suturalis and ovum so the suturalis genes must be very dominant. But,like Paul said,it could just be very visible in young snails then fade when they grow older.
