I'm hoping to get some of these soon. Shell lengths 2cm. But is there anything I need to do differently then looking after fulicas?

They like it warmer and wetter, but some folks do keep them in with fulicas - I prefer to put mine in with my margies and tigers

iredalei are only from East Africa, so should prefer warm, not overly humid conditions over anything else, and would adapt to a range of conditions and temperature, like fulica, unlike margies and tigers which are from west africa and should prefer very warm, wet and humid conditions.

So would it be a good Idea to put a heat meat under their tank?

So would it be a good Idea to put a heat meat under their tank? no it wouldnt, its a good idea to use a heatmat though, you should put the heatmat so its on the side of the tank, covering about 1/3 of it. Dom, have you already found iredalei for sale? I have some available that are around 2cm at the moment.

Yes. I have. But I'd rather but from members off of here. I'll PM you =] What are the temperatures that are preferred compared to fulica? So I have a rough idea.

They should be kept at around the same temperature as fulica, around 22-24c, they can tolerate it cooler, around 18c, but do better at warmer temperatures.

I keep mine at about 24-25c, and yet at room temp they dont grow as well and aren't as active. When I attempted room temp in drier conditions, the adults aestivated and the babies stopped growing. I guess everyone's snails are different lol.
