Hello
I have 2x Achatina achatina. When i got them 1 one snail was about 2.5 inchs and that other was 3 inchs that was about 2 months ago and now the biggest one is about 4inch but the other is still 2.5 inchs they have alot of cuttlefish and food what is the problem?

I think this is just something that happens sometimes.I bought 4 baby tigers when I first joined this forum and all are doing well 1 is still half the size of the others but it's o.k eats well etc I think it's just one of those things.

specifically the snails since it has said Val they have rates of different growth, nevertheless there are many factors that influence in it (For example: Food, snail's quantity (In a small terrarium), genetics, inc).

From my own experience snails fed with lot of vegetables, leaves and fruits and compound feed about 2 to 3 times a week perform more than those fed with compounded feed alone. www.thethyconsulting.com

Compounded feed can also be called Supplementary feed.It is the combination of the following in different proportion: Maize Soya Beans Palm kernel cake Ground nut cake Oyster Shell Bone meal Wheat offal Vitamin Pre-mix etc www.thethyconsulting.com
