Nooo. I just picked BA up to clean him off (Yes I know I shouldn't be touching him but I wanted to get the mash off him) And he's not moving He's not moving when I touch him, or spray him, and he's gone hardish. He's dead isn't he!?! I'm just gonna put him in a little bath.. but I don't think he's alive anymore is he?

He may just be in a deep sleep. Any joy yet Sian?
IF he has passed away just remember you did the best you could for him - he died in a nice warm environment rather than being cold and alone in an airport cargo bay.
Please let me know how he is Sian, hope he is ok.
Anjie,x.

He's still hard and he's starting to smell now I would think he's gone. When I move part of his body, it just moves back to how it was slowley. He doesn't move on his own at all. He's not even far into his shell either, he's right near the opening. But nothing's happening. Thanks for all the help you gave me everyone. I just can't help thinking there was something else, something small I could have done. But I know he's had a rough journey, and I have no idea how old he really is either. Very sad now And sad for the one you've sent me Anjie. No big friend for him now But I'll put him in with my adult Fulicas. Thanks again for the help guys. And for the comments.

Thanks. And yeah, it's better than him dieing at the airport.. god knows how he would have died there. *Shudders* It's sods bloody law. That's what it is. >=/ I start thinking a friend will perk him up, I buy a friend, he should be here tomorrow, then this happens. Sucks. But at least I still have my others. And if it was disease that killed BA, then I've saved my others from getting it by not putting them in with him.

Oh Sian, You did SO much, you could not have done anything more!!! Perhaps he was old, but like Anjie said he died in a nice warm environment. Try not to be too sad, no-one could have done more!!

Well he was further into his shell this morning, and still hard. And is stinking even more now. And it's a really really horrible smell. They don't smell when they deep sleep do they?

As said already, at least you did everything you could to give this poor thing a better life. But it just was too late for him.
