my snails have white crusty streaks along their shells it cant be lack of calciun cos they have plenty of cuttlefish can anyone help me is this normal i have seen a few other pics of snails with this but i would like to know what causes this and should i be worried

its probably just were the shell has worn, do you keep them on soil?

I know what you mean anita. Some of my snails have a small section of shell where streaks are present. It is a problem for many owners. Despite eating cuttlefish, some snails develop this for no apparent reason. For example, a few of mine have this and they still have calcium intake and a variety of food. I don't know why this happens??? I don't think you should be worried, I don't think there's much you can do.
