I have been thinking about why i havent had mites in my millipede tank even though there is more otten food in there than the snail tanks then i saw a native centipede could this be what is killing them? because i dont see how a centipede can survive without live food
just wandering what you all thought because it could help with snails?

Nice idea but wouldnt there be a risk that they take a munch out of the snails?

I didn't see this, but it is possible. In some ways though it's not ideal because they will eat mites external to the snail meaning you may not see an infestation. I doubt they'll tackle mites inside the pneumostome though I admit it's possible.
One extra thing worth mentioning here, is that I've been keeping woodlice in some of my tanks. They didn't do well in the large snails' tanks but in my Helix pomatia tank they are thriving. I have quite a few woodlice babies, which are easily small enough to be killed and eaten by Hypoaspis.
