Hi everyone,
My mites arrived today and I have only 18hours to use them! he pack says they are contained in a vermiculite/bran mix. Could the bran in this mixture be harmful if eaten by my snails?!
If someone could reply ASAP I would be very grateful as have a limited time to use the mites...
Thanks
Adam

Bran is fine for the snails as long as it hasn't been treated with anything which I presume it hasn't since it contains the mites.

Are these the Hypoapsis miles from Defenders? If so, IME you can just sprinkle the contents of the tub directly onto the snails' substrate, and the mites actually live a lot longer than it says on the instructions! I didn't need all of them, so I put them in a cool cupboard and they were still going strong a week later.
