it's not in the tank, i cleaned them out i just wondered if i could reuse the old

Yeah I run mine under the tap for a while and squeeze it out a lot then re-soak it.

I use the Zoo med moss packs and it says on there it can be re-used many times. I would think other moss is the same as it all seems to be sphagnum moss.

I re-use mine. Bung it all in a bucket of water (not full) swish it and squish it alot, ring it out and flush whats left away ;D
