Hiya Gail, i think i've seen that one before, i didn't buy any because it has added fertilisers and we don't know if that affects snails in any way - if may well not but .... i didn't want to take the chance Maybe thats just me faffing lol. I've kept snails (A. fulica) on a substrate of fertilized potting soil several times. It doesn't seem to bother them and they were breeding as normal.

Oh right thanks I'll go take a look. I didnt realize the first one had fertilzers in, mind you I dont know if the one I got from the pet shop had fertilzers in. Hi Anjie, the snails are all doing lovely, smooching round the tank, still no eggs yet thou. Havent tried coir yet they are on moss at the moment, was going to try it see if they would fancy it better for laying. Yeah I saw your piccie of your little two tails he looks just like my big two tails hes still got two tails kind of, even after the problem he had. Gail
