You know I'm updating my snails living quarters to a 4ft fish tank? Well, would the flourescent (spelling?) gro-lux light be ok to keep as a light source (ie. so I can see my snails)?

Ive just been reading that snail farms avoid UV lighting because it is harmful to the snails so I would suggest getting a normal fluorescent rather than one intended for growth.

Excellent, shall get one of those if/when they move into their new tank. Just waiting for someone to get back to us about a tank they have on offer, if it comes - they'll be moving into their new tank over the next week or two Failing that it'll be after Christmas, but I still needed to know *lol*
