I know this is pretty basic but my snails never seem to come out much, i always have to get them out individually with warm water, so i need to know what temp is best and how much i need to spray them. Thanks

I keep mine between about 24 and 28°C i don't need to spray mine often as this keeps the tank humid but most people once or twice a day :-)

If you don't own one I would suggest you buy a hygrometer: They cost about £2 and they'll tell you the relative humidity. It's probably got more to do with this than temperature if your house has central heating.

yeah, what is the humidity at currently?
covering some of the ventilation will also help, it really depends on what your reading is.

I think they would be more active if you could warm your tank up a bit. About 24C is a good temp to aim for.
