Hey everyone! I want to make a suggestion, im not sure if it has been mentioned before. I was just reading a post where someone had trouble attatching something to a newly made snail's home. Now, it's not a magic fix or anything. But it's strong, and it's waterproof. You know the glue they use to put glass aquariums together at the edges? It's called silicone glue I believe, and you can buy it at aquarium shops. I have some myself because I wanted to test it with some glass marbles, it's brilliant, if you use it as instructed of course.
You would need the aquarium to be clean and dry first, but you can glue plants, pieces of drift wood, plasic bowels that might spill over, anything really. It's quite strong as long as you give it time to cure (dry). It's also water proof of course, which might be a life saver for a moist snail terrarium. It should also be very safe too, especialy when rinced first, because it's the same glue used for aquariums. And we all know fish can be just as delicate as snails to toxic substances.
Hope this helps someone out! ;D

That's a great idea!
I've used it to repair all sorts of things myself, it is very strong and it's in glass tanks anyway.

I've just bought some of that. I accidentally tipped over my empty tank whilst cleaning it out on to the patio. It caused a large serrated edge and little shards of glass were sticking out. Fortunately, it was only chiped on the outside of the tank. I need to fill the gap up with the aquarium sealer, it looks as if it would work. At least that way I don't have to worry about cutting myself on the sharp edge lol. Yes, so it could be used for all sorts of things really. The idea of sticking food bowls down is great!

Awesome! So glad to have helped ;D I actually plan to go as far as to create art with it as well, because it does such a great job attatching to glass when nothing else really can. I plan to glue clear marbles to things to make a "bubble" effect for example. The possabilities seem endless because it's clear, very strong, attatches to glass, and is pet safe. ;D
