Hi all. I was just given the link to this place easlier today. Very nice I have 1 snail. He is a GAL, but I don't know anymore past that. He lived in crappy conditions where I got him from. About 30 snails in a 4foot fish tank. Hopefully now he is on his own he will flourish. He is actually going to live in a school. I am a teaching assistant for infants in a school, he will live in the classroom there. I got him at the start of half term to help him settle. At the moment I have called him snotters, but that won't be appropriate in the school so I will let the children pick a name. As you can see above I work in a school. I am a teaching assistant for infants. I work with a year 3 child to improve her reading. I also teach Year 5 & 6 ICT. I am just about to finish a NEBOSH Health & Safety course, when that is done I will be certified/qualified to have major Health & Safety responcibilities. I will be in charge of Health & Safety in the school. I am also in charge of first aid in the school. In september I will be starting my degree with the Open University- BSc (hons) Information Communication Technologies. Nice to meet everyone! (I am about to post some pics of snotters in the picture section)

Yes the school is heated all the time. If I see signs he is cold I will buy a heat mat. They are cheap as chips on ebay.
Even though I would have the children wash before and after we wouldn't have to worry about rubbish foods and salt, we only allow the children to eat fruit or veg for snacks.
