You may have seen my post on cybersnail, I have added a new "light on dark" skin.
You can choose it by modifying your profile.
I've thrown it on, so it needs some editing and some extra jiggery-pokery to make my own links change colour dependent on the skin you are using, so I'll do that at some ungodly hour over weekend when interruptions won't affect anyone.

Well I've tried it but I guess the default one still looks the best imo.

he only did it because of a complaint on cybesnail that the writing is too bright and giving them a headache so it's just meant to be easier to read

Personally, I think the light skin makes reading harder. I may sound like I'm criticizing, sorry Paul if it sounds like that, but I'm not. A dark blue skin sounds good, not so sure about a red one, but a little experimentation wont harm.

its harder to read it hurts my eyes (sorry paul) Yeah, I did it for people who don't like the default skin. The idea was to be the opposite way around for people who can't read light text on dark. If you don't like it just stick to the default skin. I'm not making loads, because I now have to find a way of checking in the header and footer to see what skin is being used, so I can make my custom links viewable. So I can't be arsed exasperating the problem more. Not unless there is a real need for it.

eww no don't like it, it's a bit weird No I don't like it either, it doesn't look as 'friendly' as this colour, I shall stick with the default one but then I hate changes!!! Val
