Not really any need with Pachnoda, but it wont do any harm if you do separate them. Just give them enough space and plenty to eat.
Im rearing 6 in a 12x8x6 container at the moment, some are starting to pupate and theyve done fine.

glad you got the information you needed but I think in future it would be more responsible to get the information before you buy the animals.
Good luck with them,
Brian.

well its a long trip to the shop! i dident no they sold sun beetles and they where also in bad condition so i had to get some! that's fair enough but I feel that as well as giving you advice we must promote good pet keeping which encourages others to have their tanks set-up and be fully knowledgable before they buy any animals. You could have for instance bought these animals then realised they were outwith your area of expertise or needed a setup that you simply are unable to provide. I would never be seen to encourage anyone to buy pets on a whim then bring them home and go "how do I care for these"? In all honesty it is irresponsible. If they are in such a bad condition as you describe by all means "rescue" some but also call the RSPCA or similar. Brian.
