Hi,
I have looked everywhere and can't find an answer to this. The weather has been hot lately and my pet snail (garden snail) has burrowed into the soil in his terrarium, and hasn't come out after several days. I have been regularly spraying his cage with water hoping it might coax him out. The weather has cooled off substantially so I was hoping he might come out, but not yet.
Can you please let me know if this is normal? What should I do?

Try picking him out.
i have to dig for my tiger because she wont come out and will sleep for days, i make sure she eats alittle then i let her burrow again.
Could the snail be laying eggs?
I remember when my garden snails laid and i never saw them for at least a week, its a tough job laying all those eggs.
