Is it legal for me to do this I dont want to endanger my babies or put the buyer and myself in trouble with the law

Its just as legal as sending them within the UK, which also techinically isnt allowed by the post office (only certain invertebrates are) so as long as they arent declared as living animals it should be ok, legally its usually ok to receive most invertebrates within the EU, except for the restricted species.

You may be looking for around three days delivery time though, that may be something to concider.
They should be durring that time though.

The delivery time shouldnt affect them, the average it takes for them to arrive to Germany when sent international signed for post is around 3-5 days.
Ive read of Snails in the post for weeks before, and they were fine when they arrived, as they were packed really well, with food for them to eat.

i was always worried about posting snails for more than 1 day. but after reading this ill just make sure their packed properly and they should be ok
