I had Rocket since about June/July last year, but this has started to happen recently. If this is helpful: I think Rocket was young when I got him, his Shell wasn't as developed but he wasn't a baby.
He has started to withdraw himself quickly, I spray him then he will wonder and eat for a few hours then just head back into his shell, and is not active until I next spray him, which is probably the next day or so. Also his entire body in his shell is withrawing back, if you get me, I can literally just touch the shell from the inside, maybe even more.
Any ideas? What's going on?

Bathing him now. Is this a good solution?

well I'm not sure if there is a solution. No snail has ever recovered.

Well it sounds like yours is in the early stages of it...so treatments might work.
Could you take a picture of the snail in it's retracted position and when it's out? To see how serious it is.
good luck
Mike

This is him normally. He will move then pull his shell, if that's normal. I hope it is normal. Anyway, here's your pic. If he is retracted, I'll get a quick pic then.

But he'll try to retreat into his shell, then think otherwise and wonder around. At the moment, he is eating and moving with ease.

the problem looks quite far-gone. don't get your hopes up about him recovering. infact you might want to think about euthanasia. sorry

I got up this morning, he wasn't out. So I picked him up to find he hadn't retracted.
