I've heard of many ways to tell how old a snail is, but how can you really tell?

from what i know you can never tell the real age of a snail unless you hatched it, because some snails have faster shell growth than other. others please correct me if i am wrong hope this helps xx

No,you're right.The best you can do is look at the measurements of other snails,compare them to yours and then you have a rough estimate.

other than cutting them in halve and counting their rings you can't really tel....hang on i'm thinking of trees right?
