I dont know if vcibes is the right word but here goes :
Say you have an overwelming emotion inside youm, like sadness, cats and dogs are suppost to be able to feel this yes? can snails?
If you are around them alot and are say realy exited or realy sad about something, do you think they would be able to sence this.
If you were, say, realy exited about something or realy happy, do you think some of it would reflect onto them?!
the question just popped into my mind xD lool

I think snails do have an awareness of us that goes beyond just a physical sense. I know that my snails have all had different personalities, and I can get a vibe from them as to whether they're feeling contented or agitated about something. I would imagine they can sense similar things about us as well.

I have some snails that don't want much to do with me when I'm stressed and a couple who are extra friendly then. Maybe they think I need cheering up? They certainly seem to have some level of awareness, but whether it's mood or body language they notice I couldn't say....

ROFL!! ;D I was born old, so no offense taken! ;D I think I've always been an old soul, regardless of my age. But Madhouse does have a point. You spend enough time around animals, even trees and plants, and you can hone in on their basic vibe. It takes experience over time, and it's almost like learning a new language. But it can be done. It's hard to describe how I can tell when my snails have been agitated. Part of it is their body language, the rest of it is just sensing that's what they're feeling. Let yourself be open as you observe your snails, and give it time. I'll bet eventually you will be able to discern different emotions and moods among your snails.

you guys should be called the snail wisperers xD the motto: "bring snails that are unwilling to come out and we'll tell you why with our out of this word special power!" lool if that made sence. so how long have you long had your snails then? how long has it taken to get experiance? xD

Snail whisperers! ROFL! I love it! ;D After spending time with my snails and then interacting with my cat, she seems almost human by comparison. It's so easy to tune in to her after being tuned in to a creature so different from warm-blooded vertebrates. I've had snails for almost 2 years. I've had small snails -- Helix aspersa, Otala lactea, Oxychilus alliarius. I live in the US, so GALS are out of the question. That's okay, I love my little ones.

They don't have a throat or a soft palate, so I don't see how they could snore in the same manner as humans do. I suppose it's possible for them to make other kinds of noises in their breathing hole, but i doubt it would be during when they're asleep.
