Hi All, Our Lims laid eggs ;D around 10 of them, however since the egg laying pinky is very retracted ( i presume since the laying as i didnt actually see it ).
Anyone have experience of this or the laying of eggs causing death/problems in these snails, as im quite concerned for her??

Thats what i thought, plus they are quite young snails and there are only a few eggs, to be honest i havent done that well with Lims and have offered them to someone here, because their health is of more importance than me holding on to them as pets.

a few people have had problems with limis, i found mine were always unhappy until i put there tank next to the radiator and i had to keep them in lunch box tubs to keep humidity high
it is good you offered them to someone else though as you said the health of the animal is what is most important

I kept mine on top of the digi box where it was really warm. They seemed to really like it.

i fear now it may be too late for pinky, even after a warm bath there was no response , my son is heart broken and i am not exactly happy, she was a beautiful little snail. if the person asked doesnt want them then i am open to any serious snail keeper who will take inky and the eggs/hatchlings ( postage cost only , and i will ONLY post guaranteed next day ) All the best Ade
