Hi guys, i've finished my short documentary about slugs - and one snail!
It is titled 'Pests' as they are known as common garden pests, but i've played with a little emotion - as i really don't see them as pests!
Now i have just got to upload it onto YouTube, which could take a very long time, so will hopefully post the link on here tomorrow.
Thank you for all your help on looking after my cast whilst a made this film, no slugs or snails were harmed what so ever during the making of this film. They were merely on a holiday and have now been set free in the wild, the same place i found them! Two of them didn't want to leave, and took two nights to leave their holiday home hehe.
Thank you again, the film will be posted on here asap.

Hello! My film is now up on my website, hope you enjoy you are the first lot to view it! Would love to hear what you think and any feedback. It's not perfect (ie. the music is too cheesy for my liking) as I had to finish it by Friday, so please bear that in mind! www.LucyNaden.com/film.htmlThanks, Lucy

My computer has problems playing video, so I didn't see it very well. I couldn't hear any audio, either. But what I could make out looked quite nice -- nice lighting. But were those slug pellets at the end?

Thank you for all your feedback! coyote - yes they were slug pellets at the end! But don't worry, no slugs or snails were harmed as i took them away as soon as they got any closer than you can see you're meant to think that they are going to die though the idea is that you feel bad you see. Lucy

Apologies for such a late reply and for bringing this thread up again.
Thank you for all your kind comments, very much apreciated.
Rachel - I would absolutely love to keep snails or slugs, but I would want to devote a lot of my time to them - of which i havn't got much of! So unfortuntunately not right now but maybe when in a few years?!

Hi Alex, I made a set for filming as filming them just in my back garden wasn't as visually pleasing I made the set as natural as possible thanks to the help from people from this forum! Lucy

I thought it was amazing what kind of camera did you use, what program did you use to edit it? WELL DONE !! though i may attempt to do one like you but i just don't think it will be nearly as good as yours.
