Sorry if this post has already been done. My baby reticulata are starting to grow new shell. But I'm a bit worried as it seems quite soft does it get stronger as they grow? I give all my snails cuttlefish every day and sprinkle it over there food. Do I need to try some oyster mix as well

It will get stronger as your snailie grows. I find that my younger snails shells are softer then my fully grown one, but do slowly get stronger. All baby snails start off with realy soft shell, but it will get better. As long as you know (s)he is getting enough cuttle, then i wouldn't worry about it P.s: what does GMS mean? I am seeing it everywhere on here, but can't work out the meaning

Yep will defo get stronger, its like gary my fulicia when he was growing i picked him up ( stupidly ) and his shell kind of bent inwards a bit because it was so soft but it managed to get stronger and stronger and now its fine, dont worry just dont handle them as much.

as already said, its something that happens. As snails get bigger they add more layers inside their shells as well as new growth to the edge. Thats why adults have tank esqe shells. I think thats how it happens anyway (hmm, to sleepy for thought right now)
