If you no longer are able or inclined to give them the care they need, it's better to rehome them than to keep them. However, I'd seriously rethink any further pets in the future if you don't feel like keeping the ones you already have.

Well if i got more fish i would really actually want them, because i have a passion for fish but i dont know if i dont want the snails so i could use their tank fro fish, i might keep the snails but ill have a think.

At the end of the day Jasmine its up to you. If you feel you cannot keep them anymore, I will have a tank waiting here at the Shelter for them if you need it.
If you're passion for snails has gone you must think of what is best for the snails. xxx

why don't you choose a couple to keep even if you decide to rehome the others? If you still don't feel you can care for them anymore you could rehome them later. Please don't rush into this, think about it carefully. If you do decide to rehome them i'd be willing to take a couple, but don't unless you are sure.

If i get rid it will be of all of them because i cant care for them anymore i dont have the time or space. I'd be sad to see them go but i dont feel interested in them anymore ill decide within the next few days.

just do the best thing for your snails, and either sell them to a good home, or send them to a reputable trustable sanctuary (not danielle)

Ive had a long hard think and i think im deciding to sell them i dont know how to package them but i might just out them in a tub with bubble wrap and wrap them in lettuce lol. I feel really mean, sad, tite selling them but if i kept them it would be because ive had them a while. Im not putting anything up in the classfeilds yet, im only classifying it when i have money for postage and stuff.

Nobody hates you - personally I respect you for recognising that you have other interests and they may be better off elsewhere. That's not easy to do.

Thankyou, i feel really sorry for gary i dont know why i just feel i need him but i dont want to hold him back from a better life, mum said i could keep him in another tank but i'd just be selfish then. How can i stop feeling all this urm closeness, guilt, sadness towards them?

well, if you are anything like me i need to be 100% sure before i commit to do anything, and if you feel guilty and that you'll miss them then i guess you arent 100% sure?
there is always the option of keeping gary and a companion?

Ive had a long hard think and i think im deciding to sell them i dont know how to package them but i might just out them in a tub with bubble wrap and wrap them in lettuce lol. Get a tub that's big enough for them and put some holes in it so that they can breathe. Fill the tub with moss, putting the snails in the middle of it and covering them over with moss. Put some food in with them, preferably lettuce or very thinly-sliced cucumber so that there's nothing large in there to bang into them. Wrap the tub loosely in plenty of bubble wrap, then put it in a well-padded envelope. Put a few small holes in the envelope too if you want, to ensure that air can move around easily. You should post them either 1st Class Recorded, or Special next-day Delivery. Post them on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to make sure that they arrive at their destination before the weekend and don't get stuck in a post office all weekend.

well done for coming out and telling us! we are here to help:), and it is great that you can see that your interests are changing and are looking after their well-being. many snail owners probably wouldn't say anything and that would be much worse for the snails!
