know the feeling. Mine aches like a nightmare to, bongela on the area around it helps, and on really bad nights take strong nurofen before you go to bed.

My wisdom teeth never erupted, they were so impacted. And I had 5 of them, too (except the 5th one was just a "bud," as the oral surgeon called it).
Sending you magickal anti-painful-wisdom-tooth rays ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

:)Hi lucy james, little late with the thread I know but I thought I'd tell you that clove oil rubbed on the gum really helps. (sounds strange and tastes not too good - unless you like cloves? but you can get it from the chemist, and as its not a drug, there's no limit on how often you can use it) Hope this helps, I also suffered with my wisdoms - 3 impacted and one that just plain hurt. Lots of mental hugs to you and maybe some relief x.

In a pinch you can substitute ground cloves for the clove oil. It won't work quite as well as clove oil, but it's better than nothing.
