I got both african snails and native snails, and at the moment the native snails, wich most likely is a bunch of Cepaea hortensis, live in a plastic cookiejar on top of the african tank. What I wonder is, yesterday when I removed the old food from the hortensis and noticed several mite-thingies running around, so I gave the jar a cleanout (couldnt shower the snails tho since they are pretty much hatchlings, but coudlnt notice anything running on them), but how big chance is it that the mites might get into my big tank? Since the jar is standing on top of the tank, and the tank got ventilation there
