Post Office battling snail mail as letters are devoured by hungry molluscs. . . A warm, wet summer has led to an increase in the numbers of slugs and snails taking up residence in rural postboxes where they find the glue used to seal letters and attach stamps irresistible.

lol, I wonder if any little native snail has eaten its way through to one of it's giant cousin... got the shock of its life!
