How come you dont want your garden snail anymore?
I dont know much about tigers, but ive read they want a temperature that is 25-30 degrees or so. Dunno how cold your room is, but you would most likely need some sort of heating for the snails, like a heatmat or heatlamp. Heatlamps can be really cheap since they can be bought pretty much anywhere so it dosnt need to be a reptile brand like Exo Terra or so, its just very important that if you would get a heatlamp, make sure that the lampholder is made of porceline or something else that cant melt.

I don't want to be overly harsh here, but my tip: don't get a tiger snail.
If you're thinking of getting rid of one pet in order to get a similar but more appealing one - you're not ready for more pets.
If you haven't got fairly broad experience with snailkeeping (or access to someone who does) then you're not ready for tiger snails. They aren't the same as garden snails, or even as commonly kept gals - they're much harder to keep happy.
You would definitely need a heat mat and be either constantly monitoring the heat or invest in a dedicated thermostat.
I would very strongly advise you keep snails for a while longer before deciding whether to get any more - and definitely start off with an easier GALS before getting a tiger snail. They get big, as well - they eat a *lot* more than a garden snail. I understand that you're young and on a limited budget, so you need to bear in mind that they cost more to buy, more to keep and need more expensive equipment.

If your room is cold, it's best if you stick with your garden snail for now and not get a species that is native to a hot tropical environment.

ok thanks i changed my mind because my room is like -2 degrese, even better my pet garden snail layed a clear egg by herself. I have been keeping snails all my life i was 7 when i got my first pet snail, funny thing is i could randomly go to local pet shop and buy a small cheap snail and my mom wouldent mind! she knows i know how t0 look after snails. I decided that i shouldent release it as many people live down my street hate snails and kill them plus i took this snail for her family which are gone now , it was this afternoon when i put in the spagaman moss i bought that i found 2 empty snail small shells and one clear egg the snmails had obviously been in the soil and died when i baked it in oven, PS: How much do you spend on spagman moss or what ever its called mine was £5.00! and only it only had enough moss to fill my tank infact less so i left the higer bits in the tank clear
