hi all i have 2 reticulatas, and a fulica and a marginata which i got today,he is quite bit bigger than my other 3,tonight i found him with one of the retics in its mouth,or what i thought was its mouth, was he trying to eat it or did it just come accross it when it was grazing( do snails graze lol) looked a bit scary, retic is ok as far as i can see,can these snails stay together or should i take out the smaller ones until theyve grown a bit bigger? thanks for any answers

How big are the retics?
There was advice I remember seeing about how big baby snails should be before they're put in with big 'uns - I can't remember the exact details, though I'm sure it was something about having shells at least an inch long or something like that.

I'm not sure how old your snails are, but when snails are getting ready to mate, they will often nuzzle each other with their mouths. I don't know if an older one would try to nuzzle a much younger one, though.
