I feels like I'm posting an aweful lot these past few days but it was just to see if anyone could give me advice about what to do about my snails' shells as they seem to be in terrible conditions. They always have cuttlefish in their tank but I don't know if there is something else I could do to help? Thanks x Attachments:

Some snails do better using a different calcium source than cuttle. Limestone flour, liquid calcium, crushed eggshell or oyster shell are some of the alternatives.
You can also try crushing some cuttle into a powder and sprinkling that onto the food and the substrate.

Don't feel bad about posting a lot. I'd rather see someone ask a lot of questions so that they can get the information they need to take good care of their snails, than they hold back and not ask.
