ello, I took eight eggs (fulica I think) from college. Four have hatched, was over the moon lol. The other four have not and are about a week late. I assumed they were dead and before I could open one, two of them made clicking noises. But the weird thing is, I can see floating masses of circles inside two of them, and white circular things stuck on the sides of the other two.
Are they dead? What could they be? Are they premature snails or bacteria? I’m scared to open one in case I discover an alien life form of some sort..
thank you for yer help ;D

I strongly doubt you have an alien life form on your hands, lol. I'm not sure what you might have, based on your description, though. It's possible the eggs might hatch eventually, or they just might not be fertile.
Can you take a picture of them? That might help us figure out what's going on.

Sorry too late for pics, I opened one out of curiosity and found out the mass of lumps was actually air bubbles lol, so I opened the rest and found nothing but goo, and the things stuck to the sides resembled white egg yolk. I’m hoping they were not live foetuses I just killed because they did make the clicking noises. Are eggs capable of making clicking noises when threatened or is that just snails? I’m confused

Im not too sure about eggs making noises, but most eggs when broken let out a goo, dont worry its natural i mean the baby snail wouldent of felt anything if it was in the egg, these things happen.

I don't know why an egg would click, but it would be for a different reason than why a hatched snail would.
I would guess that those eggs were infertile.
