Well firstly remember to spray the tank daily because they breathe through gills, unlike me who forgot one day and ended up killing them lol. They eat decaying matter such as leaves and plants, mine were fine eating tiny pieces of vegetables, they dont eat a lot so giving them small amounts of food a few times a week is fine. Not sure how to sex them though, but if you have a bunch it's unlikely they will all be the same sex. Oh and they breed in the summer and it's unlikely you'll see them breed because they are nocturnal. Good luck

hi there
to sex a wood louse is quite easy. you need to hold one upside down and look at its underbelly. they dont like this but it wont harm them for a few seconds. basicly your looking at the parting down between the legs from top to bottom. if it is wide then it is female as this is where she keeps her eggs and needs the width. if there is very little space then this a male. have a look at a few and you will soon learn to see the difference between wide partings and small partings.
