We've decided we need some new moderators. Quite a few of our previous mods are inactive or not around much and poor coyote has been doing all the work!
We have some names in mind but I thought it'd be interesting to open up the debate.
This isn't a case of the most votes wins, I'd just like to get an idea of who the members think would make a good moderator. The people we ask might not even want the job!
The criteria as I see it are...
1. Spends a lot of time here
2. Makes useful contributions to discussions
3. Friendly and easy going
4. Articulate
5. Diplomatic

Out of those who have offered (as I don't want to make anyone not willing to be a mod feel obligated or anything) I'll throw my vote in for Lee. I think she's posted something helpful or at least consolatory on every HELP post I've seen XD

I think Aerliss should do it to, she's very helpful, and researches and pulls up helpful links on most subjects and especially on the debate about the best way to put a snail to sleep, she did some great research and helped an aweful lot, she's also really nice, articulate and meets all the criteria in my eyes.
Also Jacky, as she's very diplomatic, even when she hadn't been on here very long she was mediating a squable.

I think Rosanna would be a very good person for the job, she's on here 25/7 lol and she has a lot of information on snails, i also think that she will be able to get more people interested in snails and this amazing site! VOTE ROSANNA PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe he told you that he is not choosing anyone because he's not the person who is voted for the most will then be asked and if they say yes then they become a mod, if they say no then he will go to the person voted for ect. ect.

i think rosanna would be a good choice shes helpful,and yes on here all the time,i come on here but don't always sign in unless i find something interesting either rosanna or laurance would be good as they are on here loads and are useful for information,and help
