To be onist I feel the two faviourates are Lee and Rosanna. I feel that Rosanna has more experience as she is 21 years old and has many more different species than Lee and that Lee is only 13 years old.
Although Rosanna has had problems with other people not only supersnails but on petsnails aswell she has overcome the problems and this shows that she can stop arguements just like a mod has to.
I think Rosanna is a extremely helpfull person and she will do anything for you. Thats why I feel that Rosanna should be a MOD!

Rosanna seems very active indeed, and eager to make progress in this field, either on a practical and in a "theoretical" , didactic way. Others mentioned people too, are quite praiseworthy! Thank you Cepaealove for quoting me too ...yet, apart from being already admin on our italian forum (although much less "busy" than this one), I feel I have been actively present for too a short time since now, with periods I had been more active, and others I was absent. (I hope I could even act as a "bridge" of reciprocal contribution between respective forum, it would be helpful both ways if succeeds) I could still consider that for the future, if the need will represent again; and provided in the meanwhile I had given some rather constant contribution to the forum!

I would certainly agree that lee2211 would make a great forum mod, as would Ness. Thank you MorningCoffee. You are already a good mod on SS and would make a good one here too. You have diplomacy and tact, are helpful, experienced and have said many a wise word to folk. I agree that Lee has moderator potential, she is wise and diplomatic and has proved this on several occasions. I honestly do forget just how young she is when I talk to her, she's a shining example of a lovely and helpful person with a mature attitude. Fabrizio has impressed me personally with his knowledge and his diplomacy. He is helpful and clearly very intelligent (I know I certainly feel outclassed . I think he would make a good choice too. And I would also recommend Crossless, always a friendly, helpful member, very active and ingenious with some of her ideas I have mentioned Aerliss already as being what I personally think would be a good choice, but I would never wish to put pressure on anyone who didn't want to step up to Mod.

Don't want to hijack the topic, but I just wanted to explain that while I very much appreciate the votes, I've had my share of modding on a variety of other forums (gaming, hobbyist and student union) and as fun as it is, I just want to float around and be a responsibility-free member here That and I usually come here late in the evening after a long day at work; waaaaay too tired to moderate!

If you wake up one morning glued into a moderating chair with 'Mod' written on your forehead it had nothing to do with me...... really - totally innocent I am! ;D ;D

I also think Fabrizo and Ness'd make good mods They know an aweful lot and are especially kind and helpful, they are articulate and I feel comfortable with Ness especially, as I think I know her quite well. I agree with Ness too on Crossless, she's very kind and helpful, and is willing to test theories in order to help snail kind ;D Also Laurence, age is but a number. In no way does it dictate the amount of experiance, but I wont deny she has more species than me. It's up to what the people want really, I wouldn't mind either way, it's who they feel more comfortable with. Thank you Ness for your kind words It's really nice to hear comments from people. Admittedly I'm on here quite often too, but I might not be for a week or so, as family problems. But I'll be on here every 2 days, as I'll be coming home to feed my snails and check them.

Thank you Lee, I must admit you too are very knowledgeable, and agree that rather than "years-number", actual capabilities should be considered; as a fact, I initially assumed, from your so articulated replies, you were a much, much older person than you are, as I saw later -So I wouldn't express preferences, I would feel myself unfair, one way or another... Better to rely upon the most strongly willful candidate, as I couldn't see a "less than valid" one, among the suggested ones

Yes a lot of people say that, but like I said, it's who the forum users are comfortable with. I mean the site isn't going to do very well if people have a moderator they don't like. It won't run smoothly, and could end badly.
