Crack two open and see whats inside. They might still hatch though, just check.

I have no experience hatching tiger eggs, but finding red lines is not generally a good sign. However, perhaps it takes longer than two weeks to hatch. I'll go and ask someone who hatched a load recently

You can try holding an egg and shining a bright light through it to see what's inside. If you see bubbles then it probrably wont hatch. Not sure about the stripes though.

have received a reply from my friend....
Mine took 3 weeks ish i got red blotches on the ones that didn't hatch all the ones that did hatch stayed bright white. I didn't use a heat mat or any thing the tigers had laid at the coldest part of the tank so they were hatched in moss at room temp. (x) had some laid a few days before mine and they hatched a week earlier so they differ quite alot. Hoper this helps. x

I cracked one of mine about 5 days before they hatched it was a complete accident but they have a clear goo in when they are first laid 5 days before they hatched the goo had gone a real bright yellow it might be worth having a look if you have lots 1 won't make much difference if you are worried

Ok I have just opened the egg with red lines on it and i found a tiney snail with gooey stuff round it, is this normal Just noticed this question with mine when i cracked it 5 days before hatching there was no sign of snail just goo unless the snail was bigger so it has cracked the shell as well and thats what was causing the bright yellow goo.

That was the first sign i got that mine were hatching it had a crack for 2 days then i noticed 1 baby the day after then the next day i had about 75 the day after i had about 300+ all of mine are doing well. You might already know once they hatch do not touch them for a couple of weeks, give them cuttle the day they hatch then feed them 2-3 days after they hatch, if you touch or feed them too early they will die. Any problems or questions either post here or PM me. x

Yes they have cute little things, they are about 3/4 days old and they haven't had any food that i have provided and they haven't gone near the cuttlefish, i'm a big concerned because they haven't moved about in the tank but i can see the head and eyes moving lol.

As answered on your other thread regarding this, it's normal for snails to do this when they hatch, more details on your other thread
