there are some snails in my local petshop that have creamy white shells. they are the size of Limicolaria Flammea but they have no stripes.
Any ideas? :S soon hopefully because i might buy one tomorrow ;D

you can get plain shelled limis if they have a black stripe down their neck it will confirm they are limis

they could also be Achatina iredalei. As well as the stripe down the body, Limicolaria has a non-truncated columella, shown on the right here, (taken from the petsnails mainsite)

what does truncated columella actually mean? am i right in thinking its the bit at the bottom which ends abruptly? ?

yeah its that part of the shell, also just above where youve circled it, you can see its different in the Limicolaria shell.
Some Achatina species also have a non truncated columella though, I think fulgurata does? also some fulica can have it.

hi all i have the Achatina iredalei, african snow snails and their shells are completly white no lines or colour at all, you can see the body parts through the shell lol

No they are only about 6cm long at the moment. and it has no pigment in it's shell.

at around 6cm it would be a large adult Limicolaria, or most likely an adult iredalei as they rarely get much larger than that.

no unfortunately the IDIOTS that own the shop kept all the snails together and they bred so they had to get rid of them
got Zulu instead! ;D
