I got four possible fulchias from a teacher few months ago. But someone just told me they looked like something else in the body shape... Is it Lissachatina fulica or something else? If so, what else? //confused swedish ;D

That person is me ;D
Not the shape, their body color and the stripe that is so visible. I've just never seen a fulica with a body like that.
And is it just me or does the front part of the shell look lighter than the back part? Ok, so I'm like blind or something at the moment but anyway... ;D

Smithii ?? I saw a pic on here a few days ago of a smithii and a fulica, and to me they looked like just 2 fulica, but maybe thats what the ones you have are. They are very similar to fulica. I'll see if I can find the pics. Nat

Cool ;D
One of my friends have two of their siblings.. They are more slim in the shells and smaller than mine. Even if they where bigger when we took them...

if the shell is slender then its probably panthera. also, panthera get to 13cm and immaculata get to about 10cm

well we'll just have to see how big it gets. its not certainly panthera, since there are many GALS species, but out of all the captive bred species i think thats the one its most likely to be. bear in mind immaculata is only a sub-species of panthera

We need a picture of the columella, you just can't tell from a shell picture. If the columella isn't pink then we can rule out panthera and immaculata.
