Hi I have a couple of silly questions to ask, but I'm new to snail keeping, and was just after a bit of advice.
Firstly, I was just holding all three of them on my hand together and they climbed on top of each other, and not just the shell but were on top of each others heads - and trying to get into each others shells (or so it seemed!) Can they do each other any harm, either deliberately or by getting caught on the shell of the other one?
Secondly, if they get upside down are they able to right themselves again?
Sorry to ask such basic questions!

1) Snails of the same species are unlikely to harm each other. If you keep Achatina immaculata with other species, they may injure/kill the other snails. Giant African land snails sold without a species identification are probably Achatina fulica and can climb all over each other without bother!
2) I've never seen a snail get stuck in a position it could not right itself from.
Hope you are enjoying your new snails!
