These snails were collected in Arizona, USA..anyone know what species they could be? I cant describe them any further than the pics, cause' they arent with me. Thanks

They looks like helix pomatia to me...

They looks like helix pomatia to me... I was thinking they were a Helix species because of the shape of they're shell, but are Helix pomatia found in Arizona? ... EDIT Ive just found out that Helix aspersa is very common in Arizona, so its a good chance they could be them.

If they are Helix aspersa then they are very pretty ones with lovely coloured bodies :-)

hmm..hmm..yeh i think they are juvenile helix aspersa. definitely a helix anyway. how would you get snails through american customs anyway?
