Theyre found in many parts of South America, and some Caribbean Islands, I think they may be more common on the islands (like Trinidad, Barbados etc..) because theyre considered pests there, theyre not very common in Uruguay, and only are found after heavy rains, for large parts of the year collecting them is very difficult. Im not sure about Brazil, Columbia etc..
Would it be worth collecting them personally? theres quite a few in captivity now, hopefully those breed, I can probably get a lot more of them next year as well.
