Hi there, I have been beginning to expand my sea shell (or snail) pages. I have begun with four pages: One general, and three on coastal area, ocean floor and open sea respectively. I'd be interested in your feedback - for now the pages will remain in the projects directory, I'll move them tomorrow, I think. By the way, if you have sea shells (preferably from Europe) that you'd like to be described, make suggestions. I would have to have good pictures, of course, but in the meantime I managed to find some good sources. As I am still not on the sea (but soon will be, going to the Baltic ;D). Here's the start page, the rest is linked at the bottom... www.weichtiere.at/english/gastropoda/sea.html. Kind regards Robert

Thanks for the link, I'm bookmarking to read later when I have the time to focus on the material.

I really enjoy your snail pages Robert, I've learned quite a few things that I didn't previously know. I remember you asked for feedback a while ago but I can't find that particular thread, so please may I make a small suggestion here? I had nothing useful to say at the time except that it was very good, clear and informative. You have written an excellent page on the evolution of the mullusc shell. Although it is not specific to snails would you consider providing a link to that page within one of your Gatropod Shell pages? Perhaps within the first paragraph maybe?

Hi ness,
I shall see to it. Thank for the comment, that's very helpful (Problem is: I know where everything stands, but no-one else does...).
Regards Robert

So, the link is there and some more, to the sea snails and the shell-less molluscs...
Greetings Robert
