That is not a joke: That species was named after the discoverer's cat, which again was named for the tribbles from StarTrek...

Except of course, if you are a Klingon ;D I'd rather have expected to have some trekkie name a cone shell after the Klingons (Conus clingonensis or Conus cahlessi), but tribbles?
