Tigers are easy to identify. They have a bright pink columella and parietal wall. They have very rough skin, usually black or grey with a clear, raised V shape on the top of their tail. They have a pointed shell like all Achatina. Fulica, don't have a V shape and should have a white/white-blue columella and parietal wall and smooth skin (in comparison to tigers). For info on how to post pictures read this: Posting Picturesand to know what we are looking for pictures wise, and to explain the important anatomy for ID read this: Identifying Your Snails

It might be easier if you shared piccies? Also, the only time I've seen trouble on these boards since I joined a couple of months back, was today - and it was a guest *lol*

i was going to join but there seems to be a lot of conflict on these boards lol Actually, if you've just dropped in I suppose it looks like that with us arguing over ids, usernames, signatures etc. but I can assure you normally there is very little arguing. Must be something in the water this week lol. I've been on a lot of forums that are extremely hostile, particularly to newcomers which really angers me. I think if you joined you'd find us all amiable, plus messages between people who know each other are bound to look harsh written out coz they can get away with it ;D
