and they are feeding them iceberg lettuce, tut tut Iceberg isn't harmful, and it does contain some nutrition, there was a detailed thread about this somewhere, and they are suggesting other fuit and veg also. Your just being pedantic

I'd say fulica but you just can't tell from pictures like that. I've been watching ebay for quite a while now, and 99.99% of snails on there are fulica. I think if they were something else there is a much better chance of them being advertised as something else, it is in the sellers interests to stand out on ebay. Then we can go about verifying it. If they don't mention it, unless you're extremely lucky I'm not sure it is worth probing deeper.
Perhaps with snails being swapped around more, we'll start seeing other species turn up, we already have to a small degree.
