I think it was the shell colouring that made the appearance look much different to what I have seen. Helix aspersa it is.

It is Helix aspersa, a very very beautiful one. the shell looks painted.

they come in quite a range of colours, i have one with a yellow shell with black patterns on :-)

It's definately a Helix aspersa-looks just like the one I have exept for it's more of a beauty than mine:( What do you feed it? -wish mine looked like that...
